Description

"The Quick Brown Fox" is a simple one-button concentration game for mobile devices. Players take control over a fox that accelerates and turns automatically. All that is left to the player is to tap the screen to jump over a sleeping dog. What might sound simple first turns out to be a rather complicated task since the player has to keep the speed buildup under control or the fox will fall off the side of the stage, driven by it's own momentum. Over the course of the game the player additionally needs to evade other hostile animals and can collect letters to complete pangram sentences which in turn can be used to unlock additional characters and stages which further influence the gameplay.

History

"The Quick Brown Fox" was a quick in between project while waiting for the Greenlight voting process for the Steam version of "Blowy Fish". The idea for the game originated from a classic shower thought: The sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" is often used in typography to test fonts. What would happen if you actually make a game about a fox jumping over a lazy dog?
